Itinerary

ITINERARY

Day 1- Madrid
Upon arrival at Madrid airport you will be transported to your accommodation. During a guided visit we will learn about the muslim era in Al-Andalus and especially about the history of Madrid. Dinner. Transport to hotel.

Day 2- Cuenca
Breakfast. Private transport to Cuenca. Visit the walled fortress town of Kunka, built as a defensive site situated between the Jucar and Huecar rivers in the heart of the Cordoba caliphate. Famous for its integration with the mountainous environment, the town's characteristics still remain while the spectacular hanging houses add to the pittoresque experience. From nearby village Tragacete we gain access to the waterfalls of the river Cuervo which tend to freeze during Winter, providing spectacular views. Optional: visit to Ciudad Encantada (Enchanted City), a popular visit for its remarkable rock formations.Transport back to Madrid. Dinner. to hotel.

Day 3- Madrid
Breakfast. Shopping to luxury shopping area or to factory outlet stores.Optional: visit to muslim neighbourhood / traders zone. Transfer to airport: arrival 2 hours before scheduled flight departure.

Breakfast. Morning / Afternoon : private tour through the city of Madrid, visiting famous places like Retiro Park, Gran Via, Plaza Cibeles, Plaza de Colon, Hardrock Café, Atocha Central Station, Ventas, Moncloa,Teleférico de Madrid (panoramic view from cable car), Real Madrid stadium and official Real Madrid shop etc. Transport to hotel.
